As we close this rather bizarre and unexpected cha

As we close this rather bizarre and unexpected chapter, i wanted to reflect on a few lessons i learned this year 🤗

💫 Self-compassion and -care are not a luxury but a necessity. As my own worst critique I've started to be more kind and forgiving towards myself. After all, you are the person you spend the most time with so might as well make it a pleasant friendship 😉

💫 As a year full of plans gone upside down and rejections (so many that I dont even know any more 😄), I've been forced to embrace uncertainty and give up the idea of planning my future, because life doesn't really work that way. I'm surrendering and going with the flow in 2021 for a change, let's see where we end up.

💫 it's okay, and crucial, to pause and reflect every now and then - to go inward. For the past decade, I went through life with blinders on not questioning what made me happy or what I wanted/needed more of in life and it showed. Despite everything, 2020 has perhaps been one of my mentally healthiest years in a v loooong time. For that I'm grateful 🙏

Now I have recharged my introvert batteries, set my intentions for the year, and am ready to fly into 2021 may the year allow that 🤞🤣
